Need a break from the hustle and bustle of city life? Head to Surrey and you'll find charming villages, country inns and miles of footpaths nestled amongst the greenery. Windlesham is one such village, and it's the perfect spot for some downtime in the fresh air. You won't be far from South London by rail or car – although you'll need to travel to Bagshot to hop on the train – but you'll fall in love with the slower pace of life here. Pints in the cosy gastropubs, rounds at the nearby golf clubs, mid-day strolls through Chobham Common – we can think of worse ways to pass the time. This smart apartment is a lovely place to call home while you're in town. We love the modern design and cosy furniture – imagine sinking into the plush sofa after a long walk, a glass of wine in one hand and a good book in the other. You can also unwind with a soak in the bathtub or rinse off from your adventures under the rainfall shower. Best of all, the light-filled kitchen has everything you'll need to rustle up home-cooked dinners – including complimentary spices. Tuck into your fare around the dining table as the conversation flows, then snuggle up for a good night's sleep in the soft sheets when it's time for bed.
